• Awaiting Results/Acceptance? You can still apply! If you don’t have your university acceptance letter or final matric results yet, submit your application anyway. However, you must email these outstanding documents within three (3) days of the Grade 12 results release in January 2027.
• Communication: The department will only contact successful applicants. If you haven’t heard from them within 14 days after the Grade 12 results are released and the National Bursary Committee finalises selection, consider your application unsuccessful.
