NAMPO Cape 2026 is preparing to welcome thousands of farmers, agribusinesses and agricultural enthusiasts to one of South Africa’s most important farming exhibitions. Scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 September 2026 at Bredasdorp Park, the event will once again provide a platform for innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the agricultural sector. This year’s theme, “Together We Grow,” reflects the importance of partnerships throughout the agricultural value chain as producers face increasingly complex economic and environmental challenges. From farmers and equipment manufacturers to financial institutions and industry organisations, the event will bring together stakeholders committed to strengthening the future of South African agriculture. As the premier agricultural event in the country’s winter grain region, NAMPO Cape 2026 is expected to showcase practical solutions that help producers improve productivity, sustainability and profitability.

Covering an impressive 32 hectares, NAMPO Cape 2026 will feature 600 exhibition spaces occupied by more than 500 exhibitors representing every major segment of the agricultural industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest farming machinery, advanced agricultural technology, production inputs and innovative equipment designed to improve efficiency on modern farms. The exhibition will provide farmers with direct access to manufacturers, suppliers and service providers who can offer practical solutions for their operations. Visitors will also be able to attend popular dialogue platforms such as Nation in Conversation, Food For Mzansi discussions, the Ikusasa Water Wise Centre and the Protected Vegetable Production Seminar. While the Land Bank Livestock Tent will focus on breeder societies sharing expert knowledge instead of displaying live cattle, sheep or goats, visitors will benefit from technical discussions and breeding information presented by industry specialists. One of the exciting additions to this year’s exhibition is an expanded poultry exhibition and show, reflecting the growing importance of poultry production within South Africa’s agricultural economy. The equestrian programme in the Western Cape Lubricants Arena will feature performances by the South African Lipizzaners, Griffins Horse Archery and exciting Mounted Games demonstrations. Working dog exhibitions will showcase the skills of sheepdogs and South African Air Force dogs, while a dedicated South African Boerboel showcase will celebrate one of the country’s well-known dog breeds. The expanded Women’s Tent will provide regional cuisine, live entertainment and appearances by popular personalities including Brendan Peyper and Willem Botha. Visitors planning to attend NAMPO Cape 2026 are encouraged to purchase tickets online, with sales having opened on 1 July 2026. An important advantage for attendees is that tickets are not restricted to a specific day and may be used on any one day during the exhibition. Online adult tickets are priced at R110, while adult tickets purchased at the gate cost R120. Schoolchildren can enter for R60 when purchasing tickets at the gate, while preschool children enjoy free admission. From Wednesday, 9 September to Friday, 11 September, the exhibition will operate from 08:00 until 17:00, with the final day on Saturday, 12 September, running from 08:00 until 14:00.
