G20 Food Security Task Force Meets in Cape Town to Transform Global Agriculture

Under South Africa’s G20 Presidency, four priorities guide the agenda. Empowering youth and women in agriculture is another key goal, recognizing that inclusivity drives innovation and long-term growth in the sector.

Building climate resilience is also a major focus, with strategies designed to protect crops, soil, and livestock from extreme weather while supporting sustainable farming practices.
