ISUZU Motors South Africa has broadened its colour offering for the top-end D-MAX range, introducing a striking metallic Onyx Black finish for both the premium V-CROSS and the rugged Arctic Trucks AT35 models.

According to Kevin Fouché, Department Executive for Product Planning at ISUZU Motors South Africa, the new colour option comes in response to strong customer interest. “Following the success of the MU-X ONYX XT and the X-Rider Black, many customers have asked for a black option on our flagship D-MAX models,” he explains.

The D-MAX V-CROSS remains ISUZU’s most refined bakkie, blending luxury features with off-road capability. Available in both 4×2 High Ride and 4×4, it suits farmers who need a tough, reliable vehicle for daily operations while still offering comfort for long trips and family use.

Arctic Trucks AT35 – Extreme Capability for Demanding Terrain

The D-MAX Arctic Trucks AT35 is engineered for serious off-road performance. Developed with Arctic Trucks and assembled in ISUZU’s Gqeberha plant, the AT35 receives specialised upgrades, including:

• Hand-crafted extended wheel arches
• Larger wheel wells
• Heavy-duty suspension
• Massive 35-inch tyres

These modifications give the AT35 legendary go-anywhere ability—ideal for farmers navigating rugged farms, muddy paddocks, or remote fields. Production remains limited, and the vehicle is only available on special order through ISUZU dealers.
