In a move set to transform the oenology industry, Enartis S.r.l., a global leader in wine production technologies, has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire Parsec S.r.l., an Italian centre of excellence renowned for advanced, integrated control systems for winemaking. The deal, pending completion of Italian legal procedures, marks the beginning of a new era of innovation, growth, and collaboration in the sector.
The integration of Enartis and Parsec will create a global powerhouse capable of offering wineries around the world comprehensive, technologically advanced solutions that manage every stage of wine production—from grape reception to bottling—on a single, intelligent platform. This follows Enartis’ acquisition of Portuguese company Winegrid in 2023 and strengthens its position as a leader in smart, sustainable winemaking solutions.
Speaking on the partnership, Samuele Benelli, CEO of Enartis, said:
“This is the beginning of a chapter we intend to write together. We are uniting not just two companies, but two families that share the same culture of customer service and passion for innovation. Parsec’s extraordinary expertise, combined with our global presence, creates enormous potential. Everyone in both companies is a key part of this exciting journey.”
The agreement ensures that Giuseppe Floridia will continue as CEO of Parsec, leading the company alongside its experienced team and current partners.
“Joining Enartis represents the natural evolution of Parsec’s growth,” Floridia said. “This collaboration integrates scientific knowledge with advanced process management technology, giving wineries the tools to achieve measurable, sustainable, and high-quality production.”
Piermario Ticozzelli, Enartis Business Director, added:
“The combination of Enartis and Parsec strengthens our commitment to delivering integrated and innovative winemaking solutions. Together, we will create new opportunities and become the strategic partner for forward-thinking wineries worldwide.”
With this strategic alliance, Enartis and Parsec are set to redefine efficiency, quality, and sustainability in winemaking, building a globally unique hub of expertise for the wine industry.
