Permaculture, derived from the words “permanent” and “agriculture,” is a holistic design system that aims to create sustainable and regenerative human habitats by mimicking the patterns and relationships found in natural ecosystems. It encompasses principles and practices that can be applied to various fields, including agriculture, gardening, architecture, and community development. Permaculture principles revolve around three main ethics: Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share.
